Emotions are so tricky. there are tears which usually indicate sadness, however they sometimes show joy. Laughter is another tricky one. People laugh at all sorts of things, in all sorts of ways. Facial expressions are just as complex. Smiling, for example, there are countless ways to smile. Grinning is a form of smiling. However there are many meanings to a grin as well.
