How you keep in touch has changed drastically throughout the years. However, so has everything else, so it has to keep up with the societal changes.

Now, you could argue over text messages. Things have gotten so impersonal that talking as well as any forms of communication have gotten watered down. Even writing has gotten watered down. The written word has been replaced by emojis. People do not laugh, instead they just say LOL. This causes huge amounts of bickering as well as confusion.
